The Honest Liar Podcast

Aug 8, 2019

In today’s episode of The Honest Liar, I speak about how important it is to date yourself and learn when to course correct. No matter if you’re having the best day as I was, things go downhill fast. You have to take time out for yourself, or your tank will run empty, like mine did.

When running on empty you allow the small things to irritate you, as opposed to when you’re in a stronger head space (frame) you can deal with life’s situations better. When your tank is on empty you are the only one who can fill it up. We tend to rely on loved ones to fill our tank and get upset when they don’t, but we are the only ones that are able to do this.

Remember to never let your tank go empty, plan a weekly date for yourself. If your frame collapses you will never be able to hold a space for your loved ones.

Doing this podcast is a part of my journey of owning my darkness/light, and for anyone else listening to be inspired to leverage theirs to create the world they desire.
